Lift and Look raises the carriage for a few seconds so you can see the colour and then returns it to finish the cycle. A Bit More adds a short top-up run instead of making you start a whole second cycle. Both features exist because the failure mode of every toaster is judging doneness from outside the machine, and both are handled better here than on anything else in this dataset.
The measurements are where the picture gets more complicated. The slot is exactly 10 inches long, which clears the bar for the category, and 1 and 9/16 of an inch wide. Depth was not published. Ten inches is enough for a long bakery slice but leaves very little room when two sandwich slices go in side by side, and the width compounds it.
Independent retesting has also found this model less consistent than it once was, running hot in the upper half of the range and browning unevenly. That is worth knowing before you buy on the strength of the control layout alone, which is genuinely excellent.
